So... it's true...

Last week I was officially a bum :}  I am no longer attached to A-L and I can gladly say I'm feel great!!  Some people would be sad if they got laid off... not me.  I'm pretty happy... I'm able to stay home with my little munchkin for a little longer....and possibly enjoy the summer.   Plus I can hopefully find a job I will enjoy more... who knows...the world is my oyster!!!!!

In meantime.... I've been updating the house with some painting/renos....  Purchasing the long awaited King Size bed :)   Plus.. I've signed up to be a Stampin Up demonstrator....I'm doing it to keep me busy....plus it's a little passion of mine... crafting... hehehe.  Null is a little worried I'll get carried away with the spending $$ on the craft....but for now... he's happy because britgal is happy....which in turn makes munchkin happy.  Okshh!!!!  she is a munchkin.  I suppose I should update everyone with some new pics of her ...... incase you don't check out my web albums regular.  Who's her daddy??  hehhee..

Ok... so...now I've updated this blog...I'd better create a new one for my Stamping & Classes I intend to hold...Wanna stamp??... Watch this space...!!!!

Coupons...and work update.

So... I watched Oprah the other day and decided I was going to try and save some $$$ by finding couponsonline for stuff we buy.  It's not that easy....   trust me.  I suppose the problem is I have an attention span of a fly when it comes to searching.  I normally ask my Newfie friend "m" to find them... or my hubby Null.   Anyway... I found a few good websites... save.ca and canadianfreestuff.ca.

Anyway... do you have any good websites you know of to get money off coupons - for groceries.

Ok...update on my work... It seems work wants to me back.... ;{  doh!  I've now had to change my return date back to the original date in Jan 09 seems my work was able to find me a job for Nov.  Bummerr!!!   Show me the money.  I had to lie 

I did it...

So... I finally did it.  I emailed my work with the long awaited return date.  For those of you who are not caught up in the life of BritGal... I've been on Mat Leave for 8/9mths now and I'm expected back to the dreaded churn of corporate life.  I used to love my job... but in the last 2years I made a silly mistake and transfered to a division of the big corporation and my life has been hell ever since.  I worked long hours, had a few run-in's with people which is soooo not like me ;} if you know me.... and I just dreaded work seems I was pulled in many directions with no sign of a pat on the back for a good job.  Anyway... when I left to go on mat leave I was happy...but in the last few months every time I think about going back to work.... I can't sleep for days :{   So... Last week I popped into work to announce my early return...knowing full well they don't have a job lined up for me.  hehehe...  I have been told that I will more than likely receive a layoff package on my return (even though they tried to convince me to wait out till Jan09).  

Anyway.... cross your fingers for me....By Christmas /Jan09 I will be a free woman... looking after my baby ;} and Dev Null.

Photos...

I love photos... infact I can spend hours taking them...and hours preparing them.  Then I spend even more hours scrapbooking them.  Anyway.... he's a few I've taken... over time.  Maybe I'll start a photo blog....like my friends brother has...hmm....

BTW... some feedback on my fellow bloggers who probably think I've fallen off the face of the planet... ;}  I'm back...

Haven't blogged in ages...!!! Time to Catch up...

I haven't blogged in ages!!!  not sure why seems I always have something to 'natter' on about.  So...what's been going on?  let's trace the steps back to my last blog... Dec 07.

Firstly.. I was planning on going to Darklight's New Year's Eve party but managed to end up in the hospital ready to have my baby early.  I spent from Monday - Thursday without food :(... I suppose that was a New Year Resolution Diet I didn't know I was on :)   Anyway... the end result was fabulous... out came baby girl Eryn on January 2nd.  Sadly I didn't make it to Darklight's party.....sorry ;{

So.. the next few months we were busy getting ourselves acquainted with our new gal in our lives.  It was quite an emotional time....but I wouldn't change a thing.   Over time I've seen a new side to my guy (DevNull) ..he's been a rock!!!  He's a great dad...and a loving hubby.  We've had our ups and downs (mainly when we're tired) but at the end of it all he's been a rock... did I mention that ;}  He's also super crazy for his girl...I suppose you can't help it seems she is cute.  It must be her mum she takes after eh?  hehehehe

Ok...so what else has happened.... well we got a new car in December 07.....finally got rid of the cr*ppy Ford.  Never again!!!  It's still hard for me to only have one car... but my parents have lent me their van to get around once in a while.  For some reason I hate not having a car....

What else?  Hmm... so I'm going back to work for Oct 6th.... it's a few months early but it's hopefully only going to be 2wks...seems I'm hoping they (work) lay me off seems my position is no longer needed in my old group...and there's no similar jobs out there.  I'm just hoping they don't call my bluff on this one... it's a risk I'm taking....i just hope it doesn't back fire on.  If it does I have a back-up plan.  Wish me luck!

Yesterday we had to put our 4yr old cat Kobie down :{  that was a tough day.  He wasn't sick for long....but we had to make the decision fast.  I know DevNull took it bad seems Kobie was really his cat....Kobie was a pretty laid back cat...kinda like (DevNull) he was better than my cat Dibley with Eryn.  It was sad to see him go so soon :(

Anyway... that's all folks..not sure if it's worth a smiley....but I finally put fingers to the keyboard and typed something.  Maybe I'll do it more often if I knew someone out there in the  big wide WWW was reading.  I'll try to stay on top of it...

Wow! I've been lazy...

I know, I know... I haven't blogged in months...infact ever since I got pregnant I've been too tired to do anything.... especially blog. Besides... I never knew who read my blogs....seems the men out there only comment on each others blogs...

Anyway...what's new with me? Well.... anxiously awaiting the arrival of Baby M. Only a few weeks now.... less if my BP goes thru the roof again. Null has read up on the "how to be a fab dad guides".....me...not so much. It comes natural right? :) Actually.. I'm am starting to get nervous.....it's suddenly dawning on me that soon I'm gonna be a mum. Crazy really..... but exciting too. Now...I'm back online again...I'll "try" and blog a few times a week. Maybe give you a short run down of what I've/we've been doing the last few months I've been offline.

For now... I need to sign off so I can get my evening snack...babies hungry!!
